Niemann Foods selected DBS Group to convert its existing County Market store in Springfield, Illinois, into a Harvest Market store. The store closely matches the Harvest Market DBS Group designed and built in Champaign, Illinois, three years earlier. The project incorporated an approximately 15,000-square-foot expansion to the existing facility, including a 9,500-square-foot mezzanine area, a new storefront feature, a clerestory roof structure typical to a Harvest Market, the removal of the existing County Market storefront feature, a temporary store-set for the County Market to operate during a portion of the project and the conversion of the existing County Market interior into a typical Harvest Market. Construction began in fall 2019 and was completed on schedule in fall 2020.
