DBS Group expands field operations team

Amid continued growth, design-build construction company DBS Group has hired Jon Wheeler to join its field operations team.

Wheeler, a 28-year veteran of the construction industry, has joined DBS Group as a foreman. He began his career as a laborer with a concrete company and worked through various positions to become a foreman. He has experience in small and large commercial construction projects across the region and within several commercial markets, including education, healthcare, office, multifamily, grocery, retail, manufacturing and general commercial.

“Jon is a seasoned construction professional. He understands and executes well the skills required to run a jobsite smoothly, lead onsite crews and assure safety, quality, budget and schedule goals,” said DBS Group President and CEO Chris Walters. “In today’s labor market, we’re fortunate to have someone of his caliber on our team.”

DBS Group is a design-build construction manager and general contractor based in Onalaska, Wisconsin, and Rochester, Minnesota.
