DBS GROUP DESIGNING AND BUILDING NEW HOLMEN BOYS & GIRLS CLUB

DBS Group has been tapped to design and build the new Boys & Girls Club in Holmen, WI. The $6.9M construction project includes the conversion of the existing, 33,000-square-foot former Festival Foods facility into a Boys & Girls Club facility to serve the Holmen area community. The existing building will house a full Boys & Girls Club, the Holmen Community Center, School District of Holmen Adaptive Learning space and a dance studio. The construction project also includes an approximate 16,000 square-foot expansion at the north end of the existing building to house two full-size gymnasiums, a complete exterior renovation and a playground at the northeast corner of the building expansion area. Design is substantially complete, permitting is in process, and demolition and build-back is scheduled to begin next Monday, February 3. Construction of the gymnasium expansion starts in late-March, and substantial completion is scheduled for early-September, so the building is ready for that start of the 2020 school year.
